Shows good bend and balance in pass sets. Good awareness and communication on blitzes/stunts. Has good core strength and solid leg drive with above average foot speed. Hands lack urgency causing his punch to be late with deficient placement. He is unable to latch and laterally quick rushers give him issues. Has a tendency to waist bend.

Draft Eligible

OG/OT Mark Petry - Syracuse University (2020-24) / Ellsworth CC (2019)

Citizenship: Germany

Height: 6040e | Weight: 301e

Career Stats: 34 GP

Notable Player Awards:

  • 2019 ICCAC All-Region Honorable Mention

Background/Player Snapshot: From Hochheim am Main, Germany. Three-year starter at Syracuse. Stocky RG with experience at RT. Possesses average athleticism and good physicality. Plays with a consistent base and nice bend which compensates for average footwork and deficient agility. A lack of length prevents him from landing his punch and getting into the frame of defenders consistently. In the run game, he is physical in a phone booth, being nasty to drive and torque to finish. On the move, he is limited by his athleticism.
