2025 NCAA Draft Eligible Global Running Backs (with Top Flag Football & NCAA Global Prospects)

This week we will be featuring notable 2025 NCAA Draft Eligible Global Running Backs, along with Top Level Men/Women Global Flag Football receivers (due to the underutilization of the RB position) and Global prospects for NCAA recruiting. We’ve got a particularly deep group of draft eligible running backs in the paid section this week as well. We hope it is an added layer for scouts and readers from all our leagues and countries that are evaluating for potential player additions or insights.

Background/Player Snapshot: Originally from Belgium, but went to high school in England. Belgian and European champion windsurfer. Has seen limited snaps at RB, but in those snaps has displayed good patience and ability to see holes in both zone and gap schemes. Has good size and functional positional movement. Valuable special teams player, contributing on punts, punt returns, kickoffs and kickoff returns. Willing blocker and assignment-sound member on special teams. Lacks the top end speed and lateral agility necessary to be a game changer on offense.

Background/Player Snapshot: Following tryouts with the Raiders and Washington of the NFL in May 2019, Papale signed with the Montreal Alouettes of the CFL in 2020. The season was cancelled, so he spent 2020-21 with the Conquerors of The Spring League. Papale was then selected in the 17th round of the 2022 USFL Draft by the Tampa Bay Bandits. He has since spent time with the Memphis Showboats twice and the New Orleans Breakers. He was a recent standout performer at the 2024 IFAF World Flag Football Championships.

Background/Player Snapshot: McManaway grew up playing an array of sports, ranging from netball, basketball, volleyball, cricket, rugby, and now flag football. Her Ferns finished third in the 2023 Asia-Oceania Championships in Malaysia, in what was their first international tournament. Despite going winless, she was a recent standout at the 2024 IFAF Women's Flag Football World Championships in Finland.

He currently has gotten offers from notable college programs like UMass, Boston College, Yale, Old Dominion, and UConn.
