Background/Player Snapshot: Played TE/DE for the Berlin Rebels, along with some time for the Potsdam Royals of the GFL before Syracuse. Primarily a blocking and special teams player. Solid short area mobility to find blocking work with correct positioning. Displays a good base, hip drive and hand placement in run blocking. Latches on and carries his guy to the whistle. Lacks the functional strength and anchor to block on an island with bigger DE's. An average receiver, showing decent footwork and hands in the short areas. Not going to wow you with any explosive traits. Overall, a depth TE who offers physical upside and special teams prowess with his blocking.

Height: 6050e | Weight: 285e
Career Stats: 32 GP

Background/Player Snapshot: From Cologne, Germany. He played with his native Cologne Crocodiles and Fork Union Military Academy before coming over to the west for college. Athletic lineman with versatility that allows him to play all 5 OL positions. Displays great balance, good foot speed and explosiveness, as well as above average mobility. He is quick off the ball and takes nice angles that allow him to reach block. Shows a solid initial strike with some core strength and an average anchor. He lacks grip strength to latch. When rushers attack his half man, he is unable to recover due to punching a little early.

OT Paul Rubelt - University of Central Florida (2020-24)
Citizenship: Germany
Height: 6100e | Weight: 330e
Career Stats: 49 GP | 12 GS

Background/Player Snapshot: Previously played for Frankfurt-Oder Red Cocks American football club. He gained exposure in the US after attending summer camps at Rutgers and Buffalo. Primarily a LT with some RT experience. High cut tackle with excellent length and average athleticism. Shows a willingness to be physical and drive piles. Reach compensates for average foot speed in pass pro, where he resets his feet without replacing hands. Punch is wide, but when he gets inside, his grip strength is very good. Due to a high center of gravity he has below average balance. Uses good upper body and core strength to drive defenders in the run game. His aim points, locating and strike are deficient.
